My wife and I came here for our one year anniversary in May 2024 and had an excellent dining experience. We were graciously treated to complimentary prosecco to celebrate our special occasion. We came on a Sunday evening at 5pm and the restaurant was quiet, which was perfect for us to have a special evening. We were seated at an isolated table in the corner making for an intimate dining experience. After convincing my wife to trust the restaurant we decided on the Chefs Choice and it did not disappoint! We greatly enjoyed the dishes selected by the staff for our dining experience and our waitress took into account our preferences perfectly! I would highly recommend going this route if you chose to dine here. In addition to the amazing food we both greatly enjoyed the drinks. I ordered something off the cocktail menu and my wife enjoyed some delicious white wine. First time in a while that a restaurant offered for us to try the wine before making a final choice. Much appreciated! I would definitely come back here for another amazing tapas dining experience and would recommend it to anyone who asks!

Bray's in Downtown Victoria, has stolen our hearts! With two visits under our belt, we can't wait to come back for more. The standout star is undoubtedly their mouth-watering pork belly - a must-try! But what truly sets Bray's apart is the trifecta of exceptional food, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting ambience. Each dish we've tried has been expertly crafted, and we're excited to explore more of the menu. If you're a foodie like us, add Bray's to your list - you won't be disappointed!

One of the best restaurants in the city! Every plate we had was an experience on its own. Their modern take on tapas style is very light and refreshing and you leave without feeling over stuffed. All the while tasting so many different flavour profiles! Definitely recommend eating here if you haven’t already.

Another stellar dining experience at Brays! Our tapas selections were tantalizing and beautiful - the seared albacore tuna and roasted asparagus were standouts. Delighted the lemon olive oil cake is still on the menu! The patio was bustling but we sat in by the open windows and enjoyed the sea breeze. Service was terrific (warm, welcoming, attentive, professional - top shelf). Perfect setting for date night, time with friends and family or dining solo.

Another great experience at Brays Victoria. We like to dine at the bar to have Paul (the mixologist magician) serve and regale us. But you can also sit in the dining room or patio. We ordered the white fish crudo, seared tuna, steamed mussels, broccolini and beets, and beef cheeks,as well as extra bread to mop up the broth and delicious sauces. Overall: think elevated tapas, well curated wine, beer-cocktails and non alcoholic options, and great service right in the heart of downtown Victoria. Run don’t walk.

We are locals, and live VERY close to this place & it's dangerous-ly good.... I would 100% recommend the mussels with the toasted baguette. Honey glazed carrots were delish, and to finish off, the lamb. Great use of the space. Service was incredible and as Termintor would say.... I'LL BE BACK!

My husband, and I went to Bray's for our anniversary dinner, and despite us showing up an hour early for our reservation, do to a calendar error from a time zone change, they were still gracious enough to accommodate us despite being fully booked. We had the chef's tasting menu, and honestly it was delightful! The scallops were sweet, succulent, and perfectly seared, the gnocchi was fantastic, the cocktails were creative, and delicious, and the staff were friendly, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone in the Victoria area, as a must try.

What a gem! Downtown Victoria near the blue bridge. I can see myself spending more evenings here. Paul is down to earth, friendly, knowledgable, he invented the tortured soul no 2 cocktail, felt honored to have him make it for me lol. Truffle popcorn was simple yet so delicious, I am stealing that idea for entertaining guests at my place lol. Gnocchi was the most pillowy soft gnocchi I have had. I don't know the exact name of the lemon dessert, but it was delicious. Chatted to nice Vancouver men that dropped by at the bar, they liked the wine too. I really appreciate this place, also the fact the original shipping business here was called Bray's, from 100 years ago, plus or minus some years. Classy west coast tapas and cocktails.
